Santa Barbara Winery 2009 Chardonnay
With enough structure to age for five to seven years, this wine is very enjoyable two years after the vintage year. This is truly a Santa Barbara County blend from warmer Los Alamos to cooler Santa Rita Hills.
Santa Barbara Winery 2009 Pinot Noir
Located in Santa Barbara County's Santa Rita Hills AVA, Lafond Vineyard represents one of the most historic vineyard properties in the area. The approximately 100-acre Santa Rita Hills estate was one of the first planted in western Santa Ynez Valley in 1972.
Merlot: Aromas of rich ripe cherries, blackberries with hints of toast, and vanilla coalesce into a single sensation of olfactory bliss. The mouth is filled with an array of flavors, including cherry, plum, cranapple, sweet raspberries and strawberries with lingering hints of cocoa and cinnamon, while supple tannins leave a pleasing finish. Each juicy sip is more comforting than the last always leaving the palate to want more.
Cabernet Sauvignon: The rich, dark color of this wine catches you from the first pour. It exhibits a rich deep burgundy hue with perfect clarity. The aromas are a compendium of dark fruit - blackberry, black raspberry, and currant - with elements of toasty oak, chocolate, dark roasted coffee bean, sage and spices. A sip fills the mouth with blackberry pie, with hints of rich, ripe black cherries, sweet oak and white pepper, while maintaining absolute dryness and firm, yet supple, tannins.
Viognier: Peaches, pineapple, and tropical fruit are complemented by the scent of lemons and ginger. Lush flavors of fresh ripe peaches so juicy they drip down your arm are balanced by flavors of apples, pears and orange marmalade. The balance of fruit and a touch of sunshine lead to a refreshing finish. This wine will remind you of a spring day on a mountainside.
We suggest serving this wine at 57-60 degrees, to allow the full characters of Viognier to shine through.

Chardonnay: The aromas of vanilla, lemon meringue pie, and tangerines are complemented by hints of buttery notes entice a sip. The mouth fills with tropical fruit, homemade lemon pie and vanilla, which round out the wine and leave a lingering finish.

The Immortal Zin: The deceptively subtle aromas of this wine combine red and black cherry, mineral, earthy rhubarb and red fruit, with slightly spicy characters. In the mouth, the palate is wrapped in a velvety layered mix of sweet red cherry, strawberry, cocoa and juicy red fruit followed by light toast and smooth, chiseled tannins, leading to a lengthy, almost breathless finish.
The Other White: One is immediately struck by the vibrant color of this wine. The aromas of apples, pears, tropical fruit, and a whiff of bubble gum are complemented by hints of coconut and vanilla. Lush flavors of fresh ripe pears, apples, tropical fruit and homemade lemon pie lead to a long, totally seductive, finish. 65% Chard 25% Sauv Blanc 10% Viogner.
The Other Red: One is immediately struck by the vibrant color of this wine. The aromas of blackberries and plums are complemented by spice, toasty oak and cedar notes. Upon washing this liquid across the palate, a wave of sweet black cherries and boysenberries, with a hint of smoky, dark oak lead to a long, totally seductive, finish
